The COMET Program is pleased to announce the release of a Satellite Water
Vapour Interpretation -- Short Course. This course consists of five
self-paced lessons, in four topic areas, 3D Thinking, Vorticity,
Deformation Zones, and Conveyor Belts. Each lesson contains
forecast-relevant exercises to help users directly apply this knowledge in
the office, field, or classroom. These materials are also relevant to
students in meteorological dynamics classes allowing them to apply
meteorological theory and equations to actual atmospheric examples.

The course can be taken in either English or French and required 3-5 hours
to complete.
