My name is Marjorie McClintock, I am a retired law enforcement officer after 26 years of service for the Kansas Department of Corrections.  I have my Ham Radio License, KE0EVN and applying for a vanity call sign which can take a few weeks. (KH0RSE) and studying for my General.  I wanted to join Skywarn to enlist my services as a storm chaser in my general area, Wichiita and the surrounding areas.  
I have a dual band radio and scanner up and running.  Since I worked for Sedgwick County, I've been to three seminars over my years on Severe Weather.  I have missed the spring Skywarn training, but understand that there are online classes I can take.  However, Mark Bogner from KSN channel 3 weather is now teaching a class on Meteorology, and I will probably be taking that class this fall.   
It is my hope to join the Skywarn very soon, and my husband who has his General license is a over-the-road truck driver.  He shares info with me weather information as it comes up.  He drives from Wichita to California on a weekly basis.  He too is a weather buff and loves to take great photographs.  I too am a armature photographer.
