I didn't  know I posted any wrong  information. Going forward I will  be more diligent not  to do that.

Then clearly you thought wrong.

An email list like this would be a nearly useless way to attempt such a
purpose because the information would not reach more than a handful of list
members in a timely manner.

And, to be blunt, even if it could be accomplished in a timely manner,
alerting "fellow Skywarn members across the States of severe weather
conditions" would simply be a waste of bandwidth. There is nothing that
Skywarn members in one part of the country are going to do about severe
weather a hundreds or thousands of miles away.

The exact purpose of this list is not explicitly stated in detail on the
list webpage beyond "Discussion of Skywarn" but historically this list has
been used to discuss a wide variety of topics of interest to Skywarn
participants as well as non-participants seeking information about the
Skywarn program.

Since you don't cite any specific "debate" that you find objectionable, I
will accept the risk of assuming you are talking about the discussion
concerning storm spotting vs storm chasing.

Again, the purpose of this list is not spelled out explicitly, but I would
point out that this is a moderated list. Therefore it would be impossible
for any significantly off-topic discussion to continue for more than a few
messages. Thus I have to conclude that the on-going discussion of storm
spotting and storm chasing is NOT off-topic, at least not in the opinion of
the moderators (and their opinion is the only opinion that matters
concerning what is or isn't on topic).

If you find such discussions to be outside your interests, I think you will
find that your Verizon Wireless 4G LTE smartphone email app includes a
method to delete messages. I would suggest that you refer to the
documentation to learn how to accomplish this task.
