I was in the Air Force many years ago.

A pilot called ground control for taxi instructions.

I answered him: "Keep the shiny side up, dirty side down and the pointy 
side forward."

Ground control did not appreciate.

But, also good tip for spotters.  Stable 2 sucks in the rain.
