[Skywarn] Amateur Storm Chasers Cause Congestion in Severe Weather [feedly]

I'm betting the very TV shows that are bringing so many people to the
skywarn training classes (we set a record this year in our skywarn
class) are the same TV shows that are encouraging people to attempt to
storm chase.

So what is the answer? Teach people how to chase more safely and
encourage the behaviour and cause traffic jams or have people think that
they can do anything because they saw it once on TV? The mentality is
amazing to me. I see the same thing in the survival community. We have
people who think because they watched Man vs Wild that they could
survive in the wilderness. Most have never even spent a single night in
the woods let alone a night without any supplies or food. TV makes
things look easy that are very difficult and for some reason people
don't seem to understand that.
