Hello from the banks of the Wabash!

I just signed up for this list, and received an email asking that I introduce myself to you. Therefore:

I'm a librarian at Indiana State University - been here for 23 years. Before that, I worked in radio broadcasting. I also have a master's in geography, with a specialty in climatology, studying the correlations between various types of air pollution and atmospheric teleconnection indices. And of course I'm interested in SKYWARN and severe weather as well!

I'm also a ham radio operator, WB9WVG, ex WA3OAM. I'm one of the assistant coordinators of the Illiana SKWARN organization in Terre Haute, Indiana. As a general rule, we cover severe weather for the Indiana counties of Vigo, Vermillion, Sullivan and Clay, as well as the Illinois counties of Edgar, Clark and Crawford. (And of course if anyone files a report from outside that area, we gladly accept it!) We coordinate with Central Indiana SKYWARN in Indianapolis.

Looking forward to learning from all of you and participating on the list!

- Steve
