Good Morning South Florida EM Partners:

A quick update on the ex-Dorian remnant low currently north of Puerto Rico:

- Not much change from last night with no low-level circulation evident.
Nevertheless, the system continues to generate showers and thunderstorms
north of Puerto Rico this morning. The system is expected to encounter
increasing upper-level winds today which will likely inhibit further
development as it moves W to WNW at 15-20 mph. Atmospheric conditions could
become more favorable for development late Tuesday or Wednesday as it moves
across the southern Bahamas. The National Hurricane Center (NHC) is
currently giving the system a *40% chance* of developing into a tropical
cyclone within the next 48 hours and a plane may be sent out to the system
this afternoon.

- Possible local impacts remain uncertain and highly dependent on whether
the system develops or not. *Timing of any impacts would be late Wednesday,
and more likely Thursday and/or Friday.* Regardless of whether the system
develops, we expect an increase in shower/thunderstorm chances area-wide by
Thursday with locally heavy rainfall and gusty winds a possibility. Timing
and magnitude of impacts will be refined over the next couple of days as
the system continues approaching South Florida.

Please contact us directly 24/7 at *305-229-4523 or 4525* with any
questions,

Regards,
