my name is matthew johnson im currently deployed to afghanistan with the oklahoma national guard...i have been interested in weather for 5-6 years but never knew anything about how to find a hobby or possibly career in weather/meteorology...we are supposed to come home next month because our tour is over so i look forward to getting to know all of you on a personal/professional level...im new to the weather community i do not have any expreience in the storm spotting field but i am willing to learn... i live in nowata oklahoma so i hope to be in contact with alot of you all...is there any classes online i can take or seminars that i can attend to further advance my knowledge of weather...the only things i have done are the NWS classes on jetstream i look forward to hearing from you all
