Over on Linked In, this post was made. There's a Script I thought
might be helpful here.

"Rod Scott • I've been a NCS for our Shelby County Emergency ARES Net
off and on for about 6 years. While not active now, there was a
several year period when I was on the net weekly. We currently have
three net scripts. One for our weekly training net, one for our Severe
Weather Net, and one for our Non Weather Emergency Net. Have a look:

In the past I've been NCS on a DSTAR (digital only) net which requires
slightly different skills. The best thing is to jump right in and have
fun! You cannot possibly make a mistake that no one has made
before.Rod, N1YZ" http://linkd.in/UxPsXs
