[Skywarn] SKYWARN Recognition Day next weekend

Maybe this time I will remember to turn off Rich text or this forum!
A group of us operated from the NWS Albany, NY office as WX2ALY. We did not contact any
other NWS offices. 90 percent of our contacts were with our own spotters.
We did have a lot of trouble with RFI inside the office. Not sure if it was from within the office
or the surrounding college (SUNY Albany) hitech laboratories that are in and around the
NWS office. Our noise floor was S9 +10 so we did not make many contacts. Something we
have to work on and solve (with using some old equipment like a TenTec Delta transceiver
which has no digital processing.) Any suggestions?
