My name is Tom Phillips. I am just getting started in weather spotting. I attended last summers' Skywarn training in Dorr with a friend named Bob Bruce. Unfortunately, Bob passed away the other day. I must say I am fortunate to learn from such a talented weather geek.

I dedicate this post to Bob and all the other serious spotters out there who are not hesitant to share their knowledge.
