My name is Tim Crabtree and I helped create the "Daviess County Ky Weather Spotters" (see our Facebook page) here in Owensboro, KY. Our group works with the Daviess County Emergency Management Agency. My Twitter name is @OWB_WXSpotter. I have completed Basic & Elite Spotter Trainings twice. I also attended Kentucky Emergency Management's 2012 Weather Workshop in Bowling Green, KY. Sessions included: Supercell vs. Squall Line Tornadoes ~ Spotter Safety & Equipment ~ Psychological Effects from Long Activation ~ Rising Air/Sinking Air ~ and Radar Training. Using the COMET Program, I have completed "Role of the Skywarn Spotter" & "Skywarn Spotter Convective Basics".
