[Skywarn] Twitter feed for warnings

Greetings list:
I'm working on starting up a Twitter feed for warnings for my area and
the counties surrounding it (basically, the counties covered by the
repeater we run the nets on, a wide-coverage machine).
I would like to know if there is anyone else who is using Twitter and
what method(s) they have for auto-generation of warning tweets.
So far the one method I have is to use dlvr.it to check the RSS feeds
of the NWS warnings for the individual counties. I had to tweak it
because a weather WATCH which covers all the counties would then
trigger 15-20 tweets in rapid succession for all the counties. Some
editing of the filters has (so far) resolved that issue.
What I'd like to do is subscribe the feed to my email warning list and
when a warning/watch/advisory comes in on the email list, to email the
twitter feed. The first few words are posted to Twitter with a
hyperlink to the full email message.
I can't remember if there's any way to post a "lengthy" tweet that
would hyperlink to the full warning.
Any advise is appreciated.
