The NWS now has on-line its updated 2011 SKYWARN training
manual.

It combines the original
Basic and Advanced Spotter Guidebooks into a 
single training
booklet that incorporates more recent scientific thunderstorm 
research, radar interpretation, accurate reporting, and the spotter
safety.
