[Skywarn] Safety Vests

If you have done much Skywarn spotting, ARES work, etc etc, you know the 
dangers from being out in traffic!
If you do not, don't learn the hard way!

Harbor Freight http://www.harborfreight.com/ has various safety vests, 
from about $6 to about $10.
Some look rather cheap (but then, they are - tho probably adequate for 
daylight work). Others are quite nice looking, with reflective tape, 
etc. The more expensive ones look quite "official", too.
The better looking ones are half the price of most others I've seen. I 
stopped in our local Harbor Freight store yesterday and picked up an 
extra vest. (Tnx to AI4VF for tipping me to their prices).

I have no connection with Harbor Freight, except for an occasional 
purchase there.
