More on satellite pictures of the tsunami area -

Go to http://www.digitalglobe.com/ and click on "Tsunami Media Gallery" in 
the upper left.  You can view or even download (with some restrictions) 
some "before" and "after" pictures.  (See especially the first pair).

Also, under "QuickBird Images of Tsunami Sites" on the "Tsunami Media 
Gallery" page, click on "Download an analysis of Banda Aceh tsunami 
images", or "Download an analysis of Sri Lanka tsunami images".  Some very 
detailed images here.

Large files, but well worth your time to see how powerful the tectonic 
processes can be!
