The wording of my previous email gave some the impression that the
"Purchase an Antenna Analyzer" drive was a club sponsored initiative. It is
not and no club member is obligated to participate in any way. I apologize
for any confusion this caused.

The title and description of the Go Fund Me page

that I created have both been changed to the following to make this clear:

Last Saturday at breakfast, Rizal Malong KH7JO suggested that a bunch of
us pool our resources and purchase an antenna analyzer to share when anyone
needs one. I thought it was a good idea since they can be pretty expensive
and it's hard to justify paying so much for a piece of equipment that isn't
used frequently. The plan is to purchase an antenna analyzer (we're
looking at MFJ's and RigExperts units and several others). In addition to
the analyzer, we'll need to purchase rechargeable batteries, a charger,
quick use guide, and weatherproof case. To give you an idea of the cost,
the MFJ-259C with the accessories would be about $400. Of course, there
are higher end antenna analyzers that cost more and we'll purchase one of
those if we receive enough funds to do so. I was thinking I could send
out a Doodle Poll to everyone who chips in and let them choose from several
different units in our price range. If you'd like to contribute to this
effort, any amount will be appreciated. 73, John KD2RKA
