All SJRA Members:
The nice folks at ARRL are going to award us 100 points on Field Day for
working safely and using common sense at the sight. There is a list of
safety items that must be followed. It will be my job to assure that this
is done. We will have a meeting on Friday morning before we erect the
antennas and towers to talk about safety. I am asking you to bring a *pair
of safety glasses, work gloves and a hard hat.* If you don't have a hard
hat, you can get one at the sight for a $10.00 donation to the club.
To reiterate what Ken said, we will need all the help we can get to erect
the towers and antennas.
This should be a fun event. We always have a great time participating.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at Field Day.
