Field Day is this weekend. YES! THIS WEEKEND!

And everyone is invited. This is the Clubs biggest activity so why not come
out and play!

 

The entrance is across the street from the Gibson house. Look for the Yellow
Banners marking the entrance.

 

Setup starts on Friday at the Savich Field at 9:00 AM and continues after
sunset.

Things will continue on Saturday at 9:00 through Sunday around 18:00ish.

 

We need a lot of help getting on the air, staying on the air and putting
everything away. This is a great way to make new friends and get to know
other people in the club. Did I mention that all are invited?

 

We offer a station dedicated for first time operators and operators with
little experience known as GOTA. Bring your children, grandchildren and
yourself. There will be something to do for everyone.

 

Dom KD2EPM does a fantastic job feeding us. Personally I think it is the
best restaurant in the middle of an open field. So come out and grab some
food and tell stories with the rest of the gang. If you are there you will
most likely end up on the big screen of one of my many "Last Minute
Productions" videos.

 

Friday Lunch will be served - hoagies

Saturday Lunch will be served after 14:00 for non-operators and 12:00 for
operators scheduled to start at 14:00.

Sunday Lunch will start at 13:00 and finish quickly at 14:15.

 

 

What to bring:

We need (weather resistant) tables 4-5 for Hospitality

15-20 Folding Chairs also for Hospitality.

 

Safety Equipment Frank AA2AW will be sending out an email.

 

Tools: Basic wrenches 7/16 to 9/16 are the most common. An all-in-one screw
driver is also very handy to have.

 

There is plenty of space in the operator schedule please contact of the band
captains.

 

Call into the SJRA Repeater 145.290 -0.600 when you leave your house look
for WB2WEK. Gene will be keeping a list of what is needed at the field day
site. You can ask him if there is anything that you can bring. 

 

Gene schedule is as follows:

                Friday                    08:00 to 18:00 EDST

                Saturday              08:00 to 14:00 EDST

 

Bring you HT and monitor the SJRA repeater for questions and talk in.
