SJDXA members,

Last night, I referred to using JTDX but I was unclear on particulars.

JTDX is an available version of JT Alert that is offered as an option
selection when starting your JT Alert program. The other option that is set
as the default is WSJTX.

I am using WSJT-X version 2.2.2

And

JT Alert version 2.16.8

There is SOME documentation out there that explains the differences, but I
have not looked into them in depth.

What I did do was give it a try just to see how it worked.

My "impression" is that it "seems" to function a little bit faster and
smoother than the WSJTX version. Beyond that, I can't say much.

Note that there are some comments out there that say that there is better
award flagging functionality. But I did not take time to do any research.

Also note that the "FOX" mode in FOX/HOUND apparently does not work. but we
are generally never a FOX. So, as long as HOUND works, all should be fine
for a normal FT8 DXpedition chaser.

Also, I have not tried it on FT4 etc.

So, if any of you have used the JTDX version, let us all know how you found
it to work for you and if you found any other info to share.

See ya' in the Pileups!

73!
