Thanks Steve KZ2I for educating postal officials.
I have two IRCs left. The rest were passed along to Steve KU9C for proper disposal to his educated postal officials.
TU both Steves.
If ANYONE has any of the current IRCs expiring Dec 31, 2017 and you don’t feel like dealing with your postal employees, don’t just let them expire! You can donate them to my “QSL fund”. Just either mail them ASAP to me at my QRZ address, or hand them to me no later than the meeting next week. I’ll run interference with the postal employees and put the stamps I get into my QSL Manager stash.

I was told they don't do that any more. I insisted (politely) that it was USPS policy to redeem them (even if the US doesn't issue them now). He went back to back of office and called "retail", who also said it was against policy. After, biting my tongue and saying they would be hearing about it, I left.
