[SJDXA] Last night's meeting

A proposal to do the IARU contest in July as a serious effort to put ourselves out there as a true powerhouse. We are already known for the 160m contests. Time to stake our claim since we have several interested ops. Also this may peak some more interest in contesting as a group. I do apologize for my absence last night. It was the last game of the season for the youth roller hockey league I coach in.

So let me know what you think about the contest Idea. And we can make it happen.

And I for one don’t have the equipment and antennas at my home station that approaches SJDXA station capably in West Creek. For those members wishing to sharpen their skills the OBARC Field Day is an excellent opportunity to gain experience. Some OBARC members take a competitive approach to FD. OBARC often scores in the top ten in its class.
