Thanks for the welcome!  (boy there are a lot of "Steves" in this group :)
Steve/KU9C I agree, great calls.
I've been part of the W2GD '160' team since the '80s and in recent years while we've been operating from WYRS I've intended to join this fine group but .... 
As way of introduction I was first licensed as WV2ROF / WA2ROF in 1960. I spent 4 years in the Navy as a radioman and earned a living in the telecom industry, most of which was AT&T. Now fully retired.
Contesting and DX'ing are my main interests. I'm a long time member of FRC and prior member of West Jersey DX and Cherryville ARC. Got my start in the Nutley ARC (W2GLQ).
I look forward to meeting more of the group.
