NG is very safe if there is a ventilation system in case the pilot goes
out...NG goes UP...it doesn't stay close to the ground like Propane or
Butane...so if it has a way to vent out, the chances of it going boom is
very minimal...also the smell (the rotten eggs or sulphur smell) AKA:
merkaptin is in NG to give you a safety factor as NG is naturally
odorless...
I'll take NG anyday over propane or other gas types..

Where?]

I hate natural gas, there's just something about a gaseous 'bomb'
sitting next to the house ... or anywhere on the property ... that
makes me nervous. (Yes, we have a gas grill and I really dislike
dealing with it as well.)

Natural gas is also highly vulnerable to delivery interruptions.

That said, it seems to burn cleanly and efficiently, and I suppose
the tank might be buried ... real deep? ;-)

What's a beast, such as the generator you have described, cost -
please?
