> Dave I'm in total agreement with you on this. But it extends to any equipment related to six meters. Anytime someone has dedicated six meter gear the asking price is about what you could buy an HF rig for that covers 10m-160m, sometimes a lot more! Guess that's what we get for being dedicated six meter enthusiasts.

Don't know when or if this will go out. My ISP is making some major mods
on the mail system and it's supposed to be up on the 3rd. Today is the
1st and I can receive mail on all but 4 or 5 accounts. Can't send on any
of them. That and the new Internet mail interface stinks.

I'm waiting for the new Icom 9100...one of the DC to daylight rigs
http://www.icomamerica.com/en/products/amateur/hf/9100/default.aspx
that is supposed to work well on all bands. If we have to pay the money
we might as well have the versatility. Unfortunately I fear the 9100 may
be a bit pricey. Actually you can purchase a legal limit 6-meter amp
for about 800 to 1000 less than the same thing for 160 through 10. Go
solid state and they include six.
