[SixClub] 6M Amp Conversions & Tube Selection?

I don't think the 4-1000 would be a good tube on 50MHz...I thought their cut
off was just above 10m.....

The 3-500Zs are ok....they are used in the SB220 conversions.....but they
run hot since they are close to their limit as well..personally, I would
take something rated in the FM broadcast band and redo it for 6....The 8874,
4CX250s, etc metal/ceramic tubes are best for VHF use....a solid state model
may be easier/cheaper (at least at the 400w level)

The 572Bs can be made to run on six but the internal construction makes them
squirrely.....
