  Hi, doc. I can answer that.
  I recently got the DL5K because it will permit me to put the legal  
limit in for 90 seconds, MUCH longer than the 2K model. Of course it  
costs more but I like the headroom it provides.
  I don't remember the exact specs, but I think the 2K was on the  
order of 15 seconds. (I am guessing, so no flames.)
  The literature rates them for 1-30MHz, and this is what stopped me  
until I called. Like me, I'm sure you want to know if it will work  
safely up to 6m. The answer is, it depends on the manufacture date.
  (Read: the S/N)
Mine was brand new, S/N# 135xx and DOES. They just have not updated  
their material, literature, and advertising to reflect the upgrade.
  So, if you're buying a new one, it will work up to 50MHz. If you're  
interested in a used one, obtain the S/N first and call them to learn  
if it was made before or after the improvement. Both models were  
upgraded.
