My guitar amp (Fender Super Twin Reverb concert amp) uses them and *6
6L6's. It's LOUD with well over 200 watts of music power out. Standing
3' in front of it, popping a low E will snap your pant legs back around
your legs. It's really not a good place to stand if you value your
hearing, but it sure will give you some feedback.
Unfortunately, like many things around here it needs a bit of work.
It's picked up a bad case of hummmmm... Sounds almost like touching the
center pin on the lead to the guitar. The polarity switch doesn't make a
bit of difference.
