Not all analog stations are gone, just most of them.
Certain "repeaters" into more remote areas and low
power special purpose stations we allowed to stay on
analog.
I would think that were 6M open the beacons would be
showing up.
Does anyone have a system of online receivers that
monitors the beacons and graphically displays them
by repeater location and monitoring receiver location?
If not that would be a really valuable resource.
I could probably put a 6M and 10M receiver online and
hook it to the Internet to feed such monitoring network.
Note: The themagicband at yahoogroups.co.uk is a UK-based
list, so not everyone here is USA-centered. The other
list World Wide Six Meter Club <sixclub at mailman.qth.net>
is USA-based, though there are members who are not in the
USA. The FM-focused list AR52MHZ at yahoogroups.com I
believe is also US-based but international in membership.
