You may claim BONUS points for gen or battery power IF ALL transmitters run off the GENset OR batteries for the ENTIRE time....no part time allowed. BATTERIES can only be charged OFFLINE (IOW, no charging while they are being used....thats running off generator and different class, etc)...
There is NO multiplier for Gen or Battery power...ONLY bonus points or different class (Class B entries iirc are BATTERY powered...but I am not 100% sure....read the FD rules on the ARLR web site and send Sean an email for ARRL's interpretation...)

Also remember, you cannot claim Class A if you are using permanently installed antennas (like one club I know did..they claimed 3A operating from their club house on batteries charged while being used>..NOPE!! They were class E not A.....WHen I tried to correct it in a club meeting, I was branded a troublemaker by the BossHogg CBer running the club now....but next year, they operated 3E...thats because none of these folks could operated in the field during a real emergency if their life depended on it.....I have been a 1st responder most of my life and driven into hurricanes in some cases with repair/rescue crews...and a simple wire and tuner gets me on the air (so does a mobile antenna ;)

I dont have any experience with the logging app you are asking about...but I LOVE the N1MM app...used it last used between network laptops.....I WAS impressed!!
(Took a while to get it configed and working right though)
