Eric,

I do suggest you investigate the WSJT modes like FSK441 (Meteor Scatter) and
JT6M (great for long haul tropo and Sporadic E's). There is also an activity
period on Friday afternoon/evenings for 6 Meter digital modes. I've only
been active on 6 for two seasons, but I already have about 60 digital
contacts on either FSK411 and JT6M.

One PSK-31 QSO, several dozen FM contacts on Sporadic E, and a handful of AM
contacts. 6 seems to encourage a lot of modes, and I enjoy all of them.

Hope to see you on the Magic Band!

73,
