If there are any OLD CB supply stores in your area, try & locate 
"Francis" fiberglass CB whip antennas.. I have used one on 6m FM with 
reduced power (As they were only designed to handle the 5W output of 
CB's.. [ I had two in the 1970's that were phased & mounted as paired 
antennas on my Ford Torino GT hardtop,, they are orange in color, 
which matched closely the "Burnt Orange" color of the car].)..

IIRC the Francis antennas are 108" which resonate on 6m..
