I suggest CATS also, the Rotor Doc is the way to go. I just sent another
email with a link to you that takes you to the CATS catalog page online, I
didn't know if it would go through the reflector correctly as sometimes
these reflectors kill emails with hyperlinks.
Norm's has been getting a bad rep lately, he used to be good, but I guess as
times got tough he needed to make more money and that's what I have been
hearing from people that send him rotors... I know one ham in particular
that was going to send him a rotor so we took a set of stamping tools and
marked the upper and lower housing along with the bottom of the motor, when
it came back the bottom of the motor was the same, the bottom housing was a
dinged up housing that wasn't the one originally on the rotor, and the top
housing was the original but missing the clamp hardware. Norm claimed the
bottom housing was worn out, and that the mast hardware was too rusty to
salvage. Both of which looked fine to me. The ham that owned it regretted
not taking my offer to repair it for him with parts from CATS.

Scott
