TMD-700 and 710 both will run separate tones IIRC.  I don't remember 
about the TMV7A as I never tried it.

I'd bet most of the new duoband rigs do, but I don't know about HTs and 
6-meter rigs. "I think" the Icom 7000 also allows for separate tones, 
I'd have to look at the Yaesu 897D manual. I need to get the CW fixed 
(Makes dits, but no dahs ) on my 897D as it's going out the door so I 
can get one of the new Icom 9100's when they become available. I like 
the looks of it.  I definitely do not like the Icom 7000 or the Yaesu 
897D.  Too many functions and too few knobs and I say that after many 
years of using the 756 Pro. I like the layout of the new Kenwood mobile 
which also covers six but they should have gone 160 through 40 like Icom 
and Yaesu.

I've only found a few instances where I even turned on the receive tone. 
I normally leave it off even on two meters just in case some one tries 
to get into the system without tone and transmits on the output thinking 
the system might be down. (Not an uncommon occurrence). Unless the band 
is open and I am hearing other repeaters I do not use tone.

We don't even use tone on the 2-meter local receiver unless the band is 
open. The link receiver has it on all the time.
