[SixClub] Kenwood TS-60 Frequency readout issues

My TS-60 had not been used for a few months,just riding along in the rack mounted in my truck. I moved it into the shack last week to get ready for summer band-openings and when I powered it up there was no freq readout,either from memory or VFO. All the other functions are visible and seem to operate. If I very slowly rotate the VFO the readout will flash 51.000 for just a second and as I continue to dial I get 49.999. If I continue to dial slowly down the band I can tune all the way to 40.000. The radio will hold any frequency in that range when I power down and back up later so the memory battery shouldn't be an issue. I did use a dummy load and check output at low power. Yes it shows it is transmitting when displaying the 40.00-49.999 range.

Anyone have any ideas??
