In 2002 I worked EH8BPX in the Canary Is. while mobile using a M2 HO Loop
from EN71,

a few years later I worked several South Americans from EN61 using a PAR
Omni angle antenna Mobile.

They offer some gain over a 1/4 wave or loaded whip. If you want good
distance with 100W, Horizontal is the way to go.
If you want to work DX, SSB is the way to go.

What are the best 6M antennas?

I am mostly interested to learn about those with some gain.

Also, has anyone adapted a power antenna for a car to use as a 6M mobile
antenna - one that "disappears" so crooks & vandals don't mess with it?
