[SixClub] ARRL Field day from EL29

I was looking towards Field Day. I broke my foot and will have plates,pins and screws put in it on Thursday.I'm in el29lp. I'll be active on 10,6,2'&440 ssb..Let's hope for an opening...Mike N5TYW

50.125 & up..

I don't know as they will concentrate on any given frequency, but in 
past years when almost zip was going on, they monitored 50.125 when 
activity on other bands was heavy.

I know BVARC  _KK5W_ does have an array of 2m & 6m yagi's on a single 
rotor mounted about 40 - 50 ft. above ground level.  Other HF 
frequencies will be likely elevated higher as we have the use of a 4 
story fire training building for HF antennas, in addition to the 
possibility of the top of an old oil well drilling rig & several wire 
antennas strung between buildings at the site...

The ECHO group at the Houston Red Cross EOC, has a 6m HO Loop mounted 
on the top of a 5 story parking garage..

These two clubs are about 40 miles apart as the crow flies..

Weather prediction in the EL29 area is 40% chance of widely scattered 
t-storms with mostly cloudy skies
