Hmmmm!
Here is the sequence I used:
1. Go to the .....Advanced Options, GPS.
2. Make sure "GPS Data Source" says Device GPS.
3. GPS Services should be "Location ON"
4. Press your "menu" button while on the GPS screen and then select the
"Refresh GPS", and let it determi9ne your current position in Lat/Long.
5. Back out to your main icon screen and select "Applications" and then
start "Maidenhead"
6. The "Waiting for" screen should disappear quickly and your 10 digit grid
should be displayed.
I found that the application constantly refreshed as I walked out across my
back yard. The refresh rate is quite rapid so in order to stop the
application, I had to press the trackball button quickly in order to select
"close".
Try "CLOSE" and then restart the application and see what happens.

Did all of that stuff - application icon located
and selected and the app came up (after asking if
I wanted my GPS location shared - I said yes but
would not choose to walk around with an active
tracking beacon transmitter on my hip). :-)
The app apears stuck at the "Please wait - looking
for GPS signal" stage. It has now been several
minutes there.
