[SixClub] Ragchewers on 50125 Killing Rest of Sigs - ARGHHH!

The big guns running 1KW+ into big beams are so
strong that even with the DSP filter it can be
tough to hear a signal on 122 when they are on
125.

I have agreed to buy an INRAD 2.0KHz filter for
my FT-857D, that should help to solve that problem.

I have also found that if I wait for a moment of
silence between their transmissions I can grab
a station and get them to move to 130 or elsewhere.

The problem last night was that for almost an hour the
*only* signals I heard, and the overrwhelming majority
on the cluster, were on 125 and they were being covered-
up here by the ragchewers.

I plan to put a 2el Cubex Quad up at 30-40 feet and
to also build a 5el yagi, hopefully that will allow
me to turn the side of the bean to the loudest half
of the ragchewers and to also shake something loose
on another freq.

If I get serious about it 500+ watts may also allow
me to be heard as well as to hear more stations on
more bands.
