There supposedly are 5 6m repeaters in my area, but have yet to get 
one to work..!

I know one is being used by a local linked repeater net to connect to 
get 6m on the VHF-UHF network when 6m is live..

Doesn't seem to be much on the "magic band" in these parts on the FM 
end of 6m..
