Joey,
I think you will get as many different opinions as our preferences of Yaesu vs
Kenwood vs Icom vs..........whatever.
I enjoy ragchewing until an opening starts and then I change operating modes
real fast. You have to be flexable on six . Thats why I'm not really hung up
about forbidden frequencies and modes. It all DEPENDS..... If six was open all
the time like twenty, I'd agree that the different modes need to be on
specific frequencies, and ragchewing needed to be confined above 50.200
Like the beacons and PSK, ragchewers perform a "service" by putting rf into
the air when a lot of others are just "monitoring".
How you ragchew .... ( shorter transmissions and longer pauses between
transmitting ) will sometimes result in snagging a rare square.
