I don't know about your situation in particular, but as far as the local FD
here, we are now required to have IS-100, -200, and -700. This is in order
for our department to be eligible for federal grant money. In any event,
all three courses are fairly simple and don't take a lot of time to
complete. Any amateur radio ops that intend to be part of the soloution
when it comes time to mitigate a disaster should be familiar with NIMS and
ICS beforehand. If you wish to have a link to each of these courses, please
