Basically the regs limit the bandwidth we can run.
Useing the Internet with streaming video as an example: To reduce the
required bandwidth you can reduce the size of the image (note the small
streaming video window), you can reduce the resolution, you can reduce the
number of discrete colors in digital, and you can reduce the number of
discrete brightness levels. However even a small grainy B & W real time
image when compressed into an MPG4 format is *probably* going to be at least
50KHz wide.

I don't know of any in the central Michigan area. We do have a few on 440
ATV though.
At one time there were quite a few locals on HF SSTV.
