Well, here in Norman, OK, we had 109 QSOs, most on 50.170 USB. We got
almost all the eastern seaboard, except for ENY, SNJ, Rhode Island,
and Florida. Got a lot of folks in IN, IL, OH, and PA, as well as NM,
UT, AZ, CO, WY, and MT. For a while we had pileups of 4 or 5 folks
every time we called CQ.
I was especially pleased to have 6 kids, ages 5 to 13, willing to work
the station, and _they_ were thrilled to make about 75% of the QSOs.
It worked well for all of us, and they're now solidly hooked.
Antenna was a dipole at 36 feet, oriented ENE/WSW, rig was a Yaesu
FT-897D at 100 Watts.
I've never _ever_ seen 6 meters better.
