Hi!
I use TenTec 1209 2M to 6m transverter. 5w in 8-10W
out, any mode. I got it on EBAY for $75.00. Kit ~$110.
and assemble and tested for ~$150.
I use it with my kenwood TG707 dual bander and works
great. The advantage of a transverter is that your
communications will be as good as the radio you are
using. For the 1209, keep in mind that if you use more
than 5W in you will fry it. But if you have a good 6m
amp... you get the idea!
