your right either will do him fine
i went with the loops so he wouldnt have to worry about a rotor atop a
pushup pole in the winds when he isnt there
i tell you though nothing beats a big antenna and a good radio
before mother nature decided she wanted my station worse than i did
i had a Icom 756Pro into a M2 6M7 7 ele yagi on a 27ft boom at 40ft and
boy let me tell you
compared to the 4ele at 45ft and a 706mkiig there is no comparison
the bigger the better
now here i am stuck on 6 FM running 50watts to a 1/4wave ground plane at
30ft
life sucks some times...grin
