[SixClub] 6M antenna question

I have a question about which I hope someone can provide some wisdom or in lue of that just some simple guidence...
  I am wanting to install a 6M antenna system of some sort at our year around mountain retreat. The question revolves around the best antenna to install for the environmental conditions extant, namely elevation and surrounding terraine. The elevation is just shy of 8400 ft in a large mostly oval valley with surrounding mountain to just 13,000 ft. (far northern New Mexico) What type antenna arrangement will give me the most bang for the buck (this can apply to HF as well as 6M.) Also it needs be mentioned that there are no restrictions in my location whatsoever. Also as an aside it should be noted that area TV stations have to use transalators to pump any kind of remotely usable TV signal into the valley.
   
  So,  what should I look at in terms of overall effectiveness?
