[SixClub] antenna comparison

hello all
i was wondering
i know its probably a stupid question but
which of the following antennas would be best for DX and local QSOs on FM

1/4 wave ground plan

Jpole

5/8 wave ground plane
i am interested in real world comparisons
i don't care if you had a 1/4 wave up for years and worked 300 grids
i want to know if you had two or more of these antennas and actually 
compared them against one another
and the same height and so on
any help?
