[SixClub] wiring the shack

Semi-on topic question: I'm wiring the new shack (in the basement) and
looking for tips. No walls up yet, only studs. It's going to be about 10 by
14 feet and combine an armload of computers and vhf/uhf radios, including
my 6m stuff. I don't exceed 100w on 6, but I still sometimes get into the
stereo in the living room, and the new shack is *closer* to the living room
than the old one.

The question before me right now is this: The electrical code in my area
allows use of "Romex" cable to wire all the outlets and receptacles, Romex
being a brand name for flexible plastic cable, two-wire with ground or
three with ground. But that's all parallel conductors in a heavy plastic
sheath-- not very noise-immune.

Do I want to go to the extra trouble of bending pipe and using all metallic
conduit in the shack, so as to eliminate the possibility of radiating into
the wiring, or is that not a real issue?

I could use BX, which is armored semi-flexible cable, but I can't determine
right at this moment if the code allows that.
