I have one of the DX 100 model's, but when I bought mine, was under the 
impression the CTCSS was something I would have to arrange seperately.. 
With most other tranceivers on the market havinf CTCSS built in standard, 
it baffles me why this radio wasn't offered with this too.

My Ranger RCI-5054-DX100 is set up as a mobile, but with high gas prices 
have not made but a handful of QSO's with hams in my area..

By this correspondence, I assume the line of thought has changed.
